When it opens, it shows a clear choice — two large tiles, Login with Xtream Codes API and Load Your Playlist or File/URL — and all the configuration flows from that first click. 🎒 What do you need to install IPTV Smarters Pro?
- A compatible device: Android or iOS phone/tablet, Windows PC, or a TV that supports the application
- Your device's store (Google Play, App Store), or the publisher's official website for Windows
- Your access credentials — server, Xtream Codes username and password, or your M3U URL — received in your activation email
- A stable Internet connection (5 GHz Wi-Fi or Ethernet recommended for HD/4K)
- About five to ten minutes of your time
🛠️ How do you install and connect IPTV Smarters Pro?
You set up IPTV Smarters Pro in three steps: install the version for your device from an official source, choose one of the two home tiles, then enter your access. Pick Login with Xtream Codes API when you have server, username and password, or Load Your Playlist when you only have an M3U URL. Once the profile is loaded, the application is ready on all your screens.
1 Install the version that corresponds to your device
Smarters is available on Android, iOS/iPadOS, Windows and some TVs. The menus look similar across platforms, but the labels and supported options vary.
- Go to your device's store (Google Play, App Store) or the publisher's official website for Windows.
- Check the publisher name displayed on the listing: several applications use a similar name or logo.
- Check compatibility with your system and possible in-app purchases before installing.
- On Android, do not install an APK offered by a site unrelated to the publisher; Google Play Protect flags some risky apps.

2 Log in with Xtream Codes API
This is the recommended route if you have received your three credentials: it generally activates the EPG and VOD categories without additional settings.
- Tap the Login with Xtream Codes API tile.
- Any Name: any label to identify the profile (e.g. “IPTV4K Living room”).
- Username and Password: your credentials received by email.
- URL (server field):
https://play.iptv4ksubscriptions.com. - Confirm; the application loads live channels, VOD and, if provided, the EPG grid.
Only three fields: if you make a mistake, this is the quickest method to fix.
3 Connect with Load Your Playlist or File/URL
Best if you only have an M3U URL.
- Tap Load Your Playlist or File/URL.
- Choose Add M3U URL and give the profile a name.
- Paste

The Load Playlist File option is used if you have a local .m3u file rather than a URL; a URL is still preferable because it updates itself.
⚙️ Xtream Codes or M3U: which one to choose?
Both tiles reach the same catalog, but you enter and fix them differently. Login with Xtream Codes API uses three short fields and usually loads the EPG and VOD on its own; Load Your Playlist takes one long M3U URL that you must re-enter in full after any mistake.

💡 Tip: if you have received the three Xtream Codes fields, prefer this tile — a mistyped password is spotted and corrected in seconds, while an 80-character M3U URL must be re-entered in full after the slightest mistake. To change your account later or remove an old profile, return to the profiles screen, edit the server, username or URL, then delete the profile you no longer need.
🧩 How do you fix common IPTV Smarters Pro problems?
Publisher or logo does not match
Several apps imitate the name “Smarters”. Go back to an official source, compare the publisher shown, then reinstall before entering your credentials. Never paste your server and password into a player of dubious origin.
“Invalid username/password” (Xtream Codes)
A field is wrong, your subscription has expired, or you have reached the number of simultaneous connections in your plan. Check server, username, password and expiry date; the details are in Xtream Codes authentication error.
M3U playlist not loading

EPG grid is empty or shifted
With Xtream Codes, the EPG comes with your account; with a plain M3U, it remains empty as long as no source is attached. A schedule offset almost always comes from the time zone set in the application. See the program guide (EPG) and the EPG does not work.
Catalog stuck on loading
Refresh the categories again from the profile settings, check the available storage space and close and reopen the application. On an old device, a first load of a large VOD catalog may simply be slow.
Stuttery or pixelated playback

Menus differ from this guide
The labels change from one platform and version to another (Android, iOS, Windows, TV). Look for the logic — “Xtream Codes API” on one side, “Playlist / M3U URL” on the other — rather than the exact word. The device compatibility page shows what each platform supports.
💡 Tips for using Smarters well
- One profile per use. Clearly name each profile (Living Room, Mobile, PC): you can tell them apart at a glance and fix the right one if there's an error.
- Prefer Xtream Codes when possible. The EPG, films and series arrive without any setup, and a typing error can be corrected field by field.
- Adjust the time zone. If the EPG grid seems shifted, adjust the time zone in the settings before concluding that there is an access problem.
- Explore the Films and Series tabs. When connected to Xtream Codes, the VOD appears in dedicated tabs once the categories are loaded — give it time to recover everything on the first launch.
- Stabilize the network for 4K. Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi prevent most dropouts; this is the number one factor in viewing comfort.
