💷 Is the XCIPTV player free, or is there a paid version?

On Android, the XCIPTV player installs like any other app. The action itself is short:

🔥 How to install XCIPTV on a Firestick

The Amazon Fire TV Stick runs Fire OS, which is built on Android. That is why the XCIPTV player works on it, but not through the usual route: the Amazon Appstore does not carry it, so you sideload the app instead of tapping an install button.

Sideloading sounds technical, but it follows a set order:

1. On the Fire TV Stick, allow installs from unknown sources.
2. Add a small helper app that can fetch an APK.

📴 Can you install the XCIPTV player on a Samsung or LG smart TV?

Not directly, and the reason is the operating system. Samsung sets run Tizen and LG sets run webOS, and neither of those is Android. The XCIPTV player is an Android app, so a Samsung or LG television has no way to install the APK from its own built-in store. A developer-mode sideloading route does exist on some Tizen sets, but it is fiddly, it can expire after a set number of days, and it is not something most people want to keep re-enabling.

The dependable answer is to stop trying to install the app on the TV at all:

🍎 XCIPTV on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV

XCIPTV is built for Android first, and there is no dependable official version for iPhone, iPad or Apple TV. If you search the App Store and turn up something with a similar name, treat it with caution rather than assuming it is the same app, and do not count on it behaving like the Android build you read about everywhere else.

The useful thing to know is that your subscription is not tied to XCIPTV at all. XCIPTV is one of the most heavily rebranded players in IPTV, so many custom-named builds are really XCIPTV wearing a different logo, sometimes with a paywall bolted on. The clearest way to tell them apart is behaviour, not the name on the icon.

Because the tools to reskin XCIPTV are easy to get, a service can order a build with its own name, its own logo and its own splash screen, then hand it to you as if it were a bespoke app. Under the paint it is still XCIPTV.
