Best for: anyone who wants to pay little, have a huge catalogue and still catch a big exclusive match per round, without being tied to a 24-hour channel.

Prime Video is Amazon's and comes bundled with the Amazon Prime subscription (delivery, music, reading). A frank warning up front: Prime is not a grid of live linear channels like Globoplay or Claro tv+. It is on-demand streaming with a few live sporting events on top. If your instinct is "I want to flick between channels", it does not do that. If your instinct is "I want a low price, plenty of films and series and football now and then", it is hard to beat on the numbers.

📺 2. Globoplay + Premiere: the most complete national football (score 7.2)

Best for: the supporter who wants the most complete package of Brazilian football alongside the soaps, Big Brother Brasil and the Globo channels, and who is willing to pay more for it.

Both belong to Grupo Globo. Globoplay is the streaming service with a catalogue, live channels and a genuine free tier; Premiere is the pay-per-view that carries the Brasileirão. Together they form the most complete home of legal national football. The problem shows up in the score: a high combined price and a mountain of documented complaints.

Verdict: if your world is Brazilian football, soaps and Big Brother, it is the most complete package there is on the legal side. Just go in with expectations calibrated: by what the public reports on Reclame Aqui, you pay a lot and may still face a black screen and buffering at kick-off.

🔗 3. Claro tv+: best if you want everything in one package (score 7.0)

Best for: anyone tired of juggling five subscriptions and a different password for each. Claro bundles live channels and the streaming services into a single account.

Claro tv+ is the rebrand of what you knew as NET/Claro, operated by Claro (América Móvil). In 2026 the plan line-up looks like this, according to the official site: TV+ App (app only, no set-top box), TV+ Box (a 4K decoder with Alexa built in), TV+ Box Cabo and TV+ Soundbox (the Box with a Harman Kardon speaker). The real draw is not the channels themselves, it is the bundle: depending on the plan, you get Globoplay, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, Netflix and Apple TV+ within the same bill.

Here comes the most important warning: the price of Claro tv+ changes according to your postcode and the promotion of the day, and the resellers tell different stories. Do not treat any figure below as final.

🛰️ 4. Sky+ (ex-DirecTV GO): live TV with no aerial, with a 7-day trial (score 6.6)

Best for: anyone who wants live channels without a dish on the wall, without an engineer booking a visit and without a lock-in contract trapping you for a year.

Watch out for the rebrand, because it confuses a lot of people: DirecTV GO became SKY+ in 2026. It is the same idea as before, live TV 100% over the internet, straight in the app, with no aerial and no installation. It is operated by SKY Brasil.

There are 5 plans, running from R$ 49.95/month up to R$ 499.90/month (the top one is an annual option aimed at Brazilian football), according to the specialist press. Beware of resellers: entry prices of R$ 29.90 or R$ 19.90 pop up here and there, probably a promotion or a specific plan, and they are not reliable as a full price. As with the other pay-TV services, the final figure depends on postcode and promotion.

Best for: anyone searching for "free IPTV" who deserves the frank answer: you can have dozens of live channels for free, with no sign-up and no risk whatsoever of falling into piracy.

These two are FAST services (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV): 100% free, funded by ads, with no subscription and no login. Pluto TV belongs to Paramount, Samsung TV Plus to Samsung. Both are fully licensed and legal.

Verdict: it is the legal floor of "free". If someone offers you "20,000 channels for R$ 20", remember that Pluto TV and Samsung TV Plus deliver dozens of real channels for R$ 0 and with no risk of you stepping into the pirate roulette where they vanish with your money.

🥊 6. DAZN Brasil: international sport and combat (score 6.1)

Best for: the fan of European football (Italian Serie A, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1) and of combat sports, who does not insist on the Brasileirão Série A.

DAZN, of the DAZN group, is a sport-focused platform. In Brazil in 2026 it brings together the main European leagues, boxing, MMA, tennis, darts, women's football and the Brasileirão Série C. It is a strong international menu for a low annual price, with a service-quality caveat that has to be said.

Verdict: for anyone who lives on European football and combat sport, it delivers a lot for R$ 29.50/month on the annual plan. ⚽ 7. Premiere (standalone): the owner of national football, with caveats (score 6.1)

Best for: anyone who wants every match their team plays in the Brasileirão and is not going to subscribe to the Globoplay combo.

Premiere, of Grupo Globo, is the pay-per-view that transmits 9 matches per round of the Brasileirão Série A, plus Copa do Brasil, the Carioca and F1. It is distributed through Globoplay, so it runs on the same devices. On paper, it is the most complete for national football. In practice, it is expensive and racks up quality complaints. Verdict: if you want to guarantee every match your team plays, there is nowhere to run: Premiere is the most complete package of national football. But it is the most expensive item per screen on this list and, according to Reclame Aqui, it still buffers in the middle of the match and does not deliver 4K. Weigh that up before subscribing standalone; a lot of people come off better in the combo with Globoplay.

🌐 8. Watch Brasil: the TV from your internet provider (score 5.6)

Best for: anyone who has internet from a regional provider and saw "Watch Brasil included" in the plan without knowing what it was.

Watch Brasil is TV by streaming 100% over the internet, almost always sold through regional providers, residential blocks and home broadband plans (there is also direct sale). In other words: most of the time it arrives bundled with your internet, not as a subscription you take out on your own.

🟣 9. Vivo Play: only makes sense if you are already a Vivo customer (score 5.2)

Best for: anyone who is already a Vivo TV subscriber and wants to centralise the streaming services on the home TV. Outside that profile, it makes little sense.

Another 2026 rebrand: Vivo TV is now called Vivo Play, operated by Telefônica/Vivo. The catch that jams everything up: the Vivo Play app, which brings together Netflix, Globoplay, Prime Video, Disney+, Star+, Apple TV+ and YouTube via a Vivo box or stick, requires you to be a Vivo TV subscriber. It is not a service you take out on its own. And the prices, again, vary by postcode and the sources disagree.

Verdict: it is a good "extra" for anyone who is already a Vivo customer, and a weak choice for anyone starting from scratch who wants flexibility.

⚽ The 2026 football-rights maze (unpicked competition by competition)

Here is the truth that no ranking page tells you, and which is the number one reason so many people end up on piracy: no legal service, on its own, shows every match. There is no "I subscribe to one app and I see everything". Brazilian football is split between rival groups, and each competition has ended up in a different place.

The good news? Almost every competition has a legal route for R$ 0. You just need to know where to look. Let us unpick it.

🧩 Why no single service shows everything (Libra vs FFU)

The Brasileirão Série A is currently divided into two blocs of clubs that sold their rights separately:

• Libra bloc: negotiates with Grupo Globo. The matches of these teams appear on Globo free-to-air, on SporTV, on Premiere and, for free, on GE TV (the ge channel on YouTube).
• FFU bloc (Futebol Forte União, also called LFU): signed with Amazon Prime Video and with the Record/CazéTV group. The matches of these teams appear on Record free-to-air, on CazéTV (YouTube, free) and on Prime.

In practice: depending on which bloc your team belongs to, its match may be on a service where the rival's match does not even air. That is why the maths never adds up in a single app. And, for now, the exact number of clubs in each bloc changes with promotion and relegation, so check the updated list before the season.

📍 Where to watch each competition in 2026

This is the table to save. The second column, right after the competition, shows the cheapest legal way to see it (it is what you most want to know, so we put it up front). Notice how many rows start at R$ 0.

💸 Prices as of July 2026; check the official site before subscribing. Streaming prices change with adjustments and promotions. The "n/v" markers you see in other sections also apply here: the exact split of matches between Record, CazéTV and Prime in the Paulistão, for example, varies by round.

🆓 The free route is bigger than it looks

Put the pieces together and you assemble almost a whole season without paying a penny:

• Free-to-air TV (Globo, SBT, Record, Band): at least one match per round of the Brasileirão, Copa do Brasil, Libertadores, Sul-Americana, Champions (on SBT), state championships and a good part of F1.
• CazéTV (YouTube): it has become a phenomenon. In 2026 it carries 1 match/round of the Brasileirão (FFU bloc, alongside Record) and co-broadcasts the Paulistão. It was the only one to show all 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup, for free.
• GE TV (YouTube, from ge): matches from the Libra bloc, the Libertadores and the NFL.
• NBA Brasil (YouTube): at least one game per week, free.

It is not everything, and it comes with ads and in HD, not in 4K. But it is legal, it is stable and it does not vanish without warning. For a lot of people, that plus a R$ 19.90 Prime already sorts out the entire football week.

🪤 The F1-on-Band trap

You probably remember Formula 1 on Band. Careful: that was the previous cycle, up to 2025. In 2026 F1 returned to Globo (contract until 2028), with most of the races on free-to-air and the rest on SporTV/Globoplay. Band keeps secondary rights, but it is no longer the main home of the grid. If you saw a page saying "watch F1 2026 on Band" as the sole answer, it is confusing the cycles. Want every session (practice, qualifying, sprint)? Then it is F1 TV Pro, the category's official service.

🎯 Which combo covers YOUR team

No magic promise, just the maths:

• I only want to see my team in the Brasileirão on the cheap: start with free-to-air TV + CazéTV/GE TV (R$ 0) and complete the pay matches with Prime Video (R$ 19.90). If your team is in the Libra bloc and you want all of its matches, then Premiere comes in, more expensive and with the caveats we have already flagged.
• I want the whole Brasileirão, no exceptions: there is no cheap shortcut. It is Premiere + Prime Video combined, because the Libra and FFU blocs do not meet in a single service.
• Copa Libertadores and Sul-Americana: Brazilian clubs usually air on Globo free-to-air and on GE TV (R$ 0); to miss none, Paramount+ (R$ 34.90) or Disney+.
• Champions League: 1 match/round on SBT for free; all of them, only on HBO Max (R$ 29.90).
• Formula 1: ~15 races on free-to-air (R$ 0); all sessions, F1 TV Pro.
• NBA and NFL: you can follow both for free on YouTube (NBA Brasil for the NBA, GE TV for the NFL). For volume on the NBA, Prime covers it well (147 games + NBA Cup + Finals). The NFL, however, is not on Prime: the paid route is ESPN/Disney+.

🔮 What changes in the coming cycles (does not affect 2026)

Keep this in mind so you do not subscribe to something today thinking of a future that has not arrived yet. According to the specialist press:

• Champions: HBO Max and TNT renewed as the "home of the Champions" until 2031. From 2027/28, TNT Sports takes over and starts showing it also on the TNT Sports YouTube channel (57 matches per season, free), beating Globo and CazéTV in the bidding.
• Libertadores and Sul-Americana: 2026 is the last year of the current cycle. In the new cycle (2027 to 2030), Globo (free-to-air + GE TV) and ESPN/Disney+ renewed, and Paramount+ was left out. In the Sul-Americana, 2026 is also SBT's last year; from 2027 TNT Sports takes over the free-to-air, with YouTube.
• Formula 1: back on Globo in 2026, contract until 2028.

When someone searches for "best free IPTV", they usually end up in a WhatsApp group selling piracy. You do not need to. There is a legal, free and risk-free answer. Here are the live-channel and streaming options that cost R$ 0 and are 100% licensed.

📺 Pluto TV and Samsung TV Plus (FAST, no sign-up)

We covered both in review no. 5, so here is just the summary and what matters for "free and legal": Samsung TV Plus delivers around 100 channels and comes pre-installed for anyone with a Samsung TV; Pluto TV, from Paramount, has hundreds of channels plus a big on-demand catalogue and runs on PC, mobile and Smart TV without asking for a login. 🎬 Globoplay Free (8 live channels)

Globo has a free tier of Globoplay: R$ 0, with ads, 8 live channels and 1 screen. It is limited next to the paid plan (the Premium rises to around 26 channels and removes the ads), but it does the job for anyone who just wants a signal of the house's live channels without paying anything.

⚽ And free football?

A good part of football also has a legal and free route, and we have already unpicked it all in the football-maze section, just above: CazéTV and GE TV on YouTube, NBA Brasil and free-to-air TV (Globo, SBT, Record, Band) broadcast a large slice of the matches at no cost. It is worth going back there to check which competition falls on which channel.

⚠️ The trade-off of free, no illusions: for free you accept ads, quality generally HD/SD (4K is not the focus) and the fact that none of these options shows every match. It is safe, it is legal and it does not vanish without warning. When someone promises "everything, in 4K, ad-free, for R$ 20", that is neither free nor legal, it is the same old bait.

⚖️ Is IPTV a crime in Brazil? The truth nobody tells you

Here lives the biggest misunderstanding of the whole subject. You type "is IPTV a crime" into Google, land on a headline about "users starting to be fined", get a fright and come away thinking you can be arrested for watching a match. Let us separate what Brazilian law actually says from fear imported from abroad.

The short answer: in Brazil, the person watching is not the target of the law. The person selling is.

The viewer is not prosecuted (the law targets the seller)

What the legislation goes after is the commercial operation of piracy, not the consumer. The Penal Code, in article 184, §3, criminalises anyone who "offers to the public" a work without authorisation "by cable, optical fibre, satellite, waves..." provided there is intent to profit, direct or indirect. Read the wording carefully: it describes exactly the operator of pirate IPTV, the owner of the panel, the reseller. Not the person who just switches on the TV Box at home. The civil basis for copyright is Law 9,610/1998.

A lawyer, in an interview with Rádio Itatiaia (2024), sums it up like this:

"Quem consome pirataria não comete crime, mas quem vende sim." ("Whoever consumes piracy does not commit a crime, but whoever sells it does.")

The seller answers under article 184, §3. Strictly private use, without redistributing or profiting, tends towards the civil sphere or is criminally atypical.

And the numbers confirm it: there is no documented Brazilian case of a mere viewer arrested or fined solely for watching pirate IPTV. The most cited real conviction is of an operator, with more than 5 years' imprisonment for running a service with thousands of customers in Campinas (SP). As the press itself acknowledged in 2025, "cases of imprisonment for using pirate IPTV are rare".

The "users fined" scare is from Italy, not Brazil

Those 2025 headlines that spread panic ("users start to be fined") refer to Italy and other European countries, where the legislation and enforcement work in a different way. The Brazilian texts themselves that echoed the topic admit, between the lines, that a direct fine to the consumer "is not yet a consolidated reality" in Brazil.

In other words: they took a European story and sold it as if it were your neighbourhood. It is not. Keep that difference in mind, because it is the point where almost everyone gets confused.

The real risk is practical, not criminal 🚨

Now, breathing a sigh of relief is not the same as being safe. The danger of taking out pirate IPTV in Brazil exists, it is concrete and it happens all the time. It is just that it does not come from a criminal case against you. It comes from three far more mundane fronts.

1. Operação 404 kills your service overnight. It is the annual Ministry of Justice (Ciberlab) operation against piracy, active since 2019. The targets are operators, sites, apps, panels and the financing behind them, never the viewer. In the 8th phase, on 27 November 2025, the official gov.br figures were heavy:

🎬 535 sites and 1 app of illegal streaming blocked or suspended, 44 search-and-seizure warrants, 4 preventive arrests and 3 in the act, with cooperation from Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and the United Kingdom.

(The TELETIME portal reported 303 sites in the same phase, a likely difference of methodology; we use the gov.br figure of 535.) The 8th phase took the initiative past 3,000 sites neutralised since 2019. In the end, the service you pay for today can simply vanish tomorrow.

2. ANATEL blocks your TV Box. Anatel, together with Ancine, maintains an anti-piracy plan with direct blocking of illegal sites, apps and devices. The agency publishes a list of certified devices (these run no risk) and maintains a TV Box block panel. For 2026, Ancine signalled dynamic blocking with orders renewed every 30 minutes. In Operação Praedo (July 2025), 140 TV Boxes were seized, with the focus on the organisation, not the consumer. The little box you bought can become an ornament.

3. The reseller vanishes with your money and there is nobody to complain to. The 2025-26 wave of takedowns cut off access for around 4.6 million Brazilians from a network that moved between US$ 150 and 200 million a year. Whole apps evaporated: Eppi TV, My Family Cinema, Duna TV, Boto TV, TV Express and several others. Anyone with a paid quarterly or annual plan lost their money. And here comes the cruel part, straight from Procon:

"O consumidor abdica de seus direitos ao adquirir produto ou serviço sabendo que ele é irregular." ("The consumer waives their rights when acquiring a product or service in the knowledge that it is irregular.")

In the end: you paid, the service went down, and legally you are left without recourse. That is exactly what thousands of Brazilians discovered when they rushed to Reclame Aqui to ask for a refund after the takedowns. It did not come.

🚩 How to recognise (and steer clear of) a pirate service

A good pirate salesperson never uses the word "pirate". They dress it up as "premium IPTV", "official list", "stable server" and fill your WhatsApp with emoji. The trick is that almost every irregular service repeats the same signs. Learn to read those signs and you will recognise a scam before you send the PIX payment. No single sign condemns a service. But when three or four appear together, you can be sure: it is not licensed.

The red-flag checklist 🚩

⚠️ The sign that sums it all up: if the service vanishes without warning, and you have no website, CNPJ, invoice or official complaint channel, it is because it was built to be able to vanish. And, as the 2025 and 2026 wave of takedowns showed, it really does vanish, taking your money with it.

How to VERIFY that a service is legal (in 3 steps)

Before subscribing to anything, do this quick check. It takes five minutes and saves a lot of headache. Our checklist for trustworthy IPTV opens up each step in detail.

1. Check the device on Anatel. If it is a TV Box or receiver, check whether the model is certified on the Anatel site. A certified device runs no risk of blocking. A reminder: Anatel certifies the device, it does not "approve IPTV" nor issue a "legalised IPTV" seal. What is legal is the service that licenses the content.
2. Look for the CNPJ and the invoice. A serious service has a registered company, accepts cards and issues invoices. If you cannot find the CNPJ and payment only happens via PIX to an individual, stop right there.
3. Do the price sanity check on the official site. Compare the figure you are being offered with the price on the brand's official page. Globoplay, Prime, Claro, Sky+ publish an open price. If someone offers "the same content" for a fraction of that, the content is not the same, or it is not legal.

Rule of thumb: a legal service makes it easy to check who it is; a pirate makes it hard. Price transparency, a CNPJ and an official shop are the opposite of a red flag.

🧭 Buying guide: which to choose by your use

An overall ranking is great, but nobody subscribes to "the service with the highest weighted score". You subscribe to what solves your use. So forget the average for a minute and choose by what matters to you.

⚽ If your thing is football

There is no silver bullet here, and the blame lies with the rights maze we unpicked further up. For the Brasileirão, the most complete combo is Globoplay + Premiere, which carries the 9 matches per round from pay TV, but costs a lot and buffers during matches according to Reclame Aqui. If you can put up with one match per round, Amazon Prime Video (R$ 19.90/month) delivers 38 exclusive matches in the year and works in your favour on the wallet too. And a good part of the round is free: CazéTV and GE TV on YouTube, plus Globo and Record on free-to-air.

For international competitions, the map changes: DAZN for Italian Serie A, LaLiga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1; Paramount+ for the Libertadores and the Sul-Americana; HBO Max for the Champions. The right approach is to build the combo around your team and the competitions you actually follow, not to pay for everything.

🎬 If you want films and series

The best value for money is still Amazon Prime Video: R$ 19.90/month for a large catalogue, with football thrown in for good measure. If you want linear channels to leave running (that TV you switch on and flick through), Claro tv+ brings together live channels with Globoplay, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Prime in a single package, from around R$ 79.90/month on the plan with streaming. 🖥️ By the device you have

• Smart TV (Samsung, LG): the apps for Prime, Globoplay, DAZN and Sky+ either come pre-installed or install from the TV's store. Samsung TV Plus and LG Channels are already built in and free.
• Just the phone: every service here has an app for Android and iOS. Prime, Globoplay and Sky+ work well on the phone and on the TV with the same account.
• You want a TV Box: buy one certified by Anatel (check the model on the agency's site and see our guide to the IPTV box) and install only apps from the official stores. Steer clear of a box "already unlocked with everything installed", it is the very picture of a red flag.

🔬 How we assessed (methodology and what we could NOT verify)

Let us be straight about one thing: we did not test any of these services. We did not subscribe to the nine, we did not time buffering at 10pm on a Sunday derby, we did not measure bitrate. It would be dishonest to say we did. What we did was compile documented public evidence, with dates and sources: the brands' official pages, the tech press (Canaltech, TechTudo, Oficina da Net), gov.br and Anatel data, and thousands of real complaints on Reclame Aqui. The 5 criteria and their weights

Each service gets a score from 0 to 10 on five criteria. The final score is the average weighted by the weights below. The weights are these, on show, and they apply to everyone equally:

Content weighs the most (30%) because, in Brazil, it is football that decides the subscription. But notice that it does not decide on its own: value for money (25%) and a documented app (15%) together weigh 40%, and that is why a service that holds the football but buffers during matches and charges a lot does not rise to the top. The calculation is always the same for everyone, and you can redo it.

Why the order is what it is

The lead of Amazon Prime bothers anyone who expected a linear-channel service at the top, and we put it on record plainly: Prime is not 24-hour live TV, it is streaming with live sport on top. It leads because it delivers a lot for the lowest verified price (R$ 19.90), with no lock-in, a transparent price and a 30-day trial, and it still carries 38 exclusive Brasileirão matches. It wins on the average, not on raw content.

Globoplay + Premiere, meanwhile, has the highest content score in the ranking (it holds complete national football), but it is pulled down by the high combined price and the heavy complaints of buffering and a black screen on Reclame Aqui. That is not our opinion: it is the weight of the methodology at work. Whoever buffers and charges a lot loses points where the reader feels it, in the wallet and on the sofa.

What remained NOT VERIFIED (and why)

Being transparent includes admitting the gaps. This information we could not confirm from a reliable source and, for that reason, we do not state as certain nor inflate in anyone's favour:

• Resolution (4K/Full HD), number of simultaneous screens and lock-in of several services (Claro tv+, Vivo Play, Sky+, Watch Brasil): the official sources do not detail it per plan. We mark it as "n/v" in the table rather than guess.
• Standalone Premiere price: the sources disagree strongly, from around R$ 59.90 to R$ 89.90/month depending on plan and promotion. We did not pick the prettiest number; we publish the range and say that they disagree.
• Claro, Vivo and Sky+ prices: they vary by postcode, promotion and reseller. We treat the reseller figures as an approximation, not as an official price.
• Exact number of channels for Pluto TV, Watch Brasil and some packages: not disclosed officially.

When the sources clashed, we did not resolve the conflict by picking the convenient side, we showed the conflict. It is the opposite of what a reseller page does.

🔬 In one line: we compiled dated public evidence, applied five declared weights equal for everyone, published what could not be verified and left the conflicts on view. All prices are from July 2026; check the official site before subscribing.

🏁 Verdict: the final recommendation by profile

There is no "best for everyone", there is the best for your use. Closing the account:

• Best overall and best value: Amazon Prime Video (R$ 19.90/month). A large catalogue, 38 Brasileirão matches in the year, no lock-in and a transparent price. Just remember it is streaming with live sport, not 24-hour linear channels.
• Complete national football: Globoplay + Premiere, knowing about the high price and the buffering the public reports on Reclame Aqui. It is the most complete package there is on the legal side.
• Everything in one package, with no subscriptions to manage: Claro tv+, if you are willing to pay for the convenience and confirm the final price for your postcode.
• Spend R$ 0 and stay 100% legal: CazéTV and GE TV on YouTube, Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus and free-to-air TV.

And the honest closing line that opens this page: the legal service has faults too, it buffers, it charges a lot, it limits screens. But you do not lose the service or the money without warning, and nobody sells you a prison scare for watching a match. Prices as of July 2026; always check the official site before subscribing.
